Five stars all the way around. Food, service, location, wine selection- just excellent. Should be Dallas gem of a restaurant !
I come here three times a month with my friends and business colleagues !

    They never fail !

Not really sure how this place is so highly rated. Perhaps the fact that the food is rather exorbitantly priced is making people's brains compensate, trying to justify spending that much on trash?

Went with a friend one evening; we have markedly different tastes. Both of us came to the conclusion that the food was bland, lacking in flavor, and terribly basic. The portions were large and the service was friendly, but the food was not great.

They gave us a $20 gift card after our meal and the sad thing is that it'll likely never get used.

We sat at the Chef's Table (which just means you are sitting at a bar that opens up to the cooking area.) Our waitress was wonderful, very knowledgeable (has been there six years), and very attentive.
Before the meal came out, our waitress served us a hot popover. A yummy, hollow egg bread that was hard to not eat all of it (and the only reason I didn't want to eat all of it is because I knew I wanted dessert.)
Both of us had the Chicken (reminds me of Chicken Picante, although it wasn't called that.). It was delicious. Chicken covered in a creamy white cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, artichokes, and oil sauce. There were walnuts and a pesto sauce garnishing the sides of the plate.
We finished up with their cinnamon bread pudding. Umm, I was full and just kept eating it. So. Good.

How can you not give 5 stars to a place that has grey goose on tap.  Only problem is that a martinis is not a slushy.

Came back a couple days later and had much better service.  Actually got to see the martini menu and I ordered the peartini - great drink as I love pear goose.  Food is excellent, as usual.

Visited this eatery with family on a late afternoon for dinner. I really liked the ambiance with subdued light and wood. There is a nice looking bar just off the entry with several TVs for keeping up to date with the sport of the season.

Our waiter, Jon, was genuinely friendly and of course, very professional. There is an ample selection of wines but the beer selection is "predictable" and not impressive. But, it is about the food which includes children selections.

While we pondered the menu choices, we were served fresh pop overs. Incredibly large muffin-ish bread. Slightly crisp crust with very flavorful and soft inside. Really, really impressive. None our party selected appetizers as we were aware of how large the main entree were.

I had the 16 ounce, aged, slow cooked, bone-in Pork Chop. Nicely seasoned and tender. In a perfect world, it would have been a wee bit more juicy. My side was the potato patties. They are very tasty.

The others in the party oohed and awed over various red meat selections such as filet mignon and ribeye. I pirated a taste of each and even the "medium" done level of the filet was juicy and had outstanding flavor.

Normally, I am not a dessert person after a big meal but Jon said the magic words, peanut butter cream pie. Nice crust with a thin layer of chocolate topped by a mountain of creamy peanut butter filling. Turns out, it was Jon's recipe from his bakery days. Outstanding.

    We will be back
